A ski-waxing truck created in Shandong received the gold China Excellent Industrial Design Award honor, which was announced at the 2022 World Industrial Design Conference on Nov 11 in Yantai, Shandong province.
11月11日，2022年中国优秀工业设计奖颁奖仪式在山东烟台举办，山东“智造”的北京冬奥会中国国家队雪蜡车斩获金奖！
The truck was developed by enterprises and institutes from Shandong province, including the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group, or Sinotruk, the Shandong Industrial Design Institute, and the Taishan Sports Industry Group. The design, development and construction of the truck took 11 months.
由山东省工业设计研究院担任设计组长单位，集合了山东省十余家单位企业的技术力量，从接到研发任务到交付使用，项目团队只用了11个月的时间，为冬奥会的成功举办贡献了山东力量。
The truck has served as an important vehicle that provided waxing and storage solutions for athletes during the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. It is also China's first independently developed ski-waxing truck.
作为我国第一台自主研发制造的雪蜡车，这项山东“智造”圆满完成了中国国家队北京冬奥会训练和比赛任务，为中国越野滑雪队提供全方位服务保障。
The China Excellent Industrial Design Award, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, is the only national-level award in the industrial design field in China. A total of 10 designs were included on its gold award list this year, including the deep-sea manned submersible Fendouzhe (Striver).
中国优秀工业设计奖由工信部颁发，是我国工业设计领域唯一经国务院批准设立的国家级奖项。北京冬奥会中国国家队雪腊车、“奋斗者”号全海深载人潜水器等10件产品、作品获得2022年中国优秀工业设计奖金奖。
